Regional Director – GCC (Dubai)

A global company operating in the functional medicine, diagnostics, and precision health space is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Regional Director – GCC to lead growth across the Gulf region. Based in Dubai, this role will oversee an established business in Dubai while driving strategic expansion into Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the wider GCC.

The organization is a global provider of advanced laboratory testing, genetic testing, functional health solutions, and premium nutritional products, supporting healthcare professionals and clinics with high quality diagnostics and precision health tools. Following strong growth in the region, the company is now looking for a senior leader to consolidate its position in the UAE and scale operations across priority Gulf markets.

This is a key leadership role at an important stage of regional expansion. You will lead a small but capable local team across commercial and operational functions and work closely with senior leadership and international headquarters teams.

What You Will Do

Lead and grow the business in Dubai while expanding into priority GCC markets
Act as the senior in region representative with clients, healthcare partners, regulators, and government stakeholders
Own and deliver the regional commercial strategy with full P and L responsibility and revenue targets
Develop strategic partnerships with laboratories, healthcare networks, and distribution partners
Oversee product registration, compliance, and market access processes
Drive operational performance including logistics, test routing, and local distribution
Lead and manage the existing regional team
Ensure strong use of CRM or VMS systems for pipeline visibility and performance management
Represent the GCC region within the global commercial leadership team
Collaborate closely with legal, product, clinical, marketing, and operations teams globally

What We Are Looking For

10 or more years of commercial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare, diagnostics, wellness, supplements, or another regulated sector
Strong track record of expanding commercial operations across the GCC, particularly Saudi Arabia
Fluent English required, Arabic strongly preferred
Deep understanding of GCC business culture, regulatory environments, and stakeholder engagement
Experienced team leader with strong communication and management skills
Strategic thinker with a hands on approach to execution
Strong negotiation and partnership development skills at a senior level
Experience working with CRM driven commercial performance management

Desirable

Experience in functional medicine, genetic testing, or nutraceuticals
An established network within the GCC healthcare or medical wellness ecosystem
Experience launching or scaling operations in new markets or distributor led environments
