Senior Community Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Community Manager to oversee the operations of our residential communities in the Durham area region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.

This role requires a understanding property management and Fair Housing regulations. The Senior Community Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to the following;

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
  • Oversee site staff within district and be an extension of leadership under the Director of Operations.
  • Manage leasing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
  • Utilize property management software for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to assess maintenance needs and ensure high standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to optimize community operations.
  • Provide administrative & physical support including office experience tasks such as filing, customer & residential support.
  • Lead and train staff

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management of at least 3 years.
  • Experience in low income housing programs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent conflict management abilities to handle resident concerns effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Leadership experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.50 per hour
