The Senior Compensation Incentive Design Professional develops, implements, and administers incentive programs. The Senior Compensation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
As a Senior Compensation Incentive Design Professional, you will guide and assist the incentive plan design, implementation, and assessment process as part of the Incentive Compensation team. The successful candidate will utilize best practices in working with the Design Compensation leaders to create and implement incentive plans that drive results and help Humana attract and retain key talent in a number of roles within Humana aligned to incentive plans. This role will have responsibility to support plan governance by developing quarterly analytics and reports for business leaders.

Lead the design of incentive plans to ensure competitiveness, equity and alignment with the company's business objectives and talent strategy. Translate strategic objectives into market competitive programs to optimize business results while attracting, retaining and motivating top talent.

Conduct plan effectiveness evaluations and analyze incentive performance data on a quarterly basis for all plans supported.

Assist with automation to streamline reporting and existing communication processes.

Build forecasting and reporting models to assist Finance and Accounting with new design components.

Working with internal compensation partners, evaluate and monitor pay positioning and target total cash levels through external benchmarking and internal talent strategy.

Provide guidance to Compensation Leadership on plan design including pay mix, metrics, weights, and plan mechanics.

Work with Comp Lead to partner with Finance

Partner with Finance and business leaders to ensure plans include line-of-sight business metrics and drive intended focus and behaviors to achieve financial objectives.

Work collaboratively with finance and operations teams for the creation of cost modeling to evaluate plan scenarios.

Monitor incentive compensation program outcomes.

Implement compensation plan documents and incentive training programs for plan participants.

Ensure plan documents, business rules and other documentation are updated with latest compensation rules and guidelines.

Establish processes that guarantee and/or strengthen compliance with legal requirements as well as mitigate risks.

Manage communication strategy and execution to ensure plans and programs are well understood by the field organization to increase motivation and identify opportunities to simplify and standardize programs and processes.

Additional Information
We are recruiting for this role with 2 hires, and based on the selection phase in this role, an Associate Vice President of Compensation or an Associate Director will be your Leader.
In this role you will be an individual contributor will no managerial duties.
This role is fully remote within the U.S.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$94,900 - $130,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
