Job Purpose:


The job holder is responsible for ensure developing and implementing compliance management activities including collaborating with internal teams, monitoring compliance activities, conducting reviews, and providing expert advice to maintain the organization’s regulatory standing.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..).
  • Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure identifying all applicable regulatory obligations, including laws, standards, and guidelines relevant to the organization’s operations.
  • Ensure developing, refining, and maintaining compliance frameworks and policies that align with legal requirements and organizational goals.
  • Ensure that compliance obligations are clearly documented and communicated to relevant business lines.
  • Ensure designing and implementing compliance programs and monitoring processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the development of actionable compliance tasks and work closely with internal teams to execute and track progress.
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments to evaluate the organization’s compliance posture.
  • Ensure preparing detailed reports and analysis of compliance performance for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify potential risks or gaps in compliance and recommend effective solutions to address them.
  • Ensure developing and delivering targeted training programs to educate employees about regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
  • Raise awareness of compliance obligations and foster a culture of accountability and adherence across the organization.
  • Support the management and resolution of compliance incidents, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and rectification.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into business processes.
  • Serve as a compliance subject matter expert, providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements.


Job Qualifications and Requirements:


Bachelor’s Degree in Law or relevant fields.
