Senior Construction Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive safety, efficiency, and collaboration across teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety adherence, and progress against project milestones.
• Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to maintain clear scope and budget control.
• Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction management software for project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and reporting.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress updates, address issues proactively, and align project goals.
• Supervise construction teams on-site ensuring effective management of personnel while fostering a safe work environment.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction management with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling (Primavera P6), and project management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
• Excellent supervisory skills with experience supervising diverse teams on active construction sites.
• Deep understanding of contracts management and negotiation processes within the construction industry.
• Ability to interpret technical documents including construction plans and schematics accurately.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards combined with hands-on experience ensuring site safety compliance.
• Skilled in managing project schedules using Primavera P6 or Primavera P3; experience with HeavyBid for cost estimation is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands while maintaining quality standards.
