Role Overview

The Senior Construction Manager will lead the delivery of large-scale hospitality and mixed-use mega development projects, overseeing construction execution from early works through completion and handover. The role requires deep experience in luxury hotels, resorts, branded residences, and integrated mixed-use developments, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, programme, and cost in line with developer and international best practices.

This position interfaces closely with developers, PMC teams, consultants, contractors, and operators, and plays a critical role in aligning construction delivery with brand, design intent, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end construction delivery of hospitality and mixed-use assets, including hotels, resorts, residential, retail, F&B, entertainment, and public realm components
  • Oversee contractors and PMC teams to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage complex construction sequencing across multi-asset and phased developments

Hospitality-Focused Execution

  • Ensure alignment with international hotel operator standards, brand guidelines, and FF&E coordination
  • Manage pre-opening requirements, mock-ups, inspections, and technical approvals with operators
  • Coordinate close-out, testing & commissioning, and handover to operations teams

Programme, Cost & Risk Management

  • Monitor construction programmes, identify risks, and implement recovery plans where required
  • Review contractor progress claims, variations, and change management in coordination with commercial teams
  • Proactively manage construction risks, constructability issues, and interface challenges

Quality, HSE & Compliance

  • Enforce stringent HSE standards in compliance with local authority regulations and international best practice
  • Drive quality control processes, inspections, and snagging to achieve luxury hospitality standards
  • Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, permits, and authority requirements

Stakeholder & Interface Management

  • Act as the key construction interface between developer, PMC, consultants, contractors, authorities, and operators
  • Lead construction coordination meetings and report progress to senior leadership
  • Support executive-level reporting, dashboards, and milestone tracking

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 15+ years of construction experience, with at least 8–10 years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven track record delivering hospitality and mixed-use mega or giga projects in the Middle East
  • Strong experience working with developers or PMC environments
  • Demonstrated exposure to luxury hotels, resorts, branded residences, and large-scale mixed-use developments
  • Excellent understanding of FIDIC contracts, construction methodologies, and regional regulations
  • Preferably in Saudi Arabia with transferrable iqama.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼42,000.00 per month
