Senior Consultant - Analytics

Job Description: Analyze client data, develop and validate data hypotheses, identify and integrate relevant data sources, clean and structure data, and recommend actionable solutions that enhance efficiency and business performance. Conduct external research and market assessments for overseas project tasks, aligning with different teams on goals, expectations, and progress.

• Responsibilities: Analyze information and evaluate results to identify and implement the technology-based solutions to address business problems.
• Identify the right data sources required to inform relevant insights and metrics, and understand key business trends.
• Import raw data from client data warehouses and databases into statistical analysis software and turn the data into usable information by translating or explaining what it means and how it can be used.
• Lead data transformation, automation and migration projects across on-premise and cloud-based systems, ensuring utilization optimization and operational excellence.
• Apply EXL and business strategies to address performance bottlenecks, enhance efficiency, and improve enterprise solution design.
• Use SQL, Python, Machine Learning models (such as clustering, classification), cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS), Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, to perform all of the following: data extraction, cleaning, data understanding, variable reduction, data analysis, data quality assessment, entity resolution, model development, model validation, and summarization.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management and executives, distilling complex data into clear and actionable recommendations using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Develop ROI-based frameworks to evaluate new vendor data and create robust arbitration logic for existing 3rd party sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery, provide training and staffing support, support EXL recruitment and onboarding processes, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives such as “Lunch and Learn” sessions to enhance team capability and client alignment.
• Ensure delivery excellence using project management tools such as JIRA to track team capacity, resolve blockers, and align on priorities.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide thought leadership and innovative solutions to clients.
• Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or a directly related Field Five (5) years of experience in Analytics. Must have at least five (5) years of experience with the following: Project Management Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must have at least three (3) years of experience with the following: Programming Languages: SQL and Python; BI Reporting Tools: Tableau or Power BI; Cloud Platforms: Azure (Databricks, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric) or AWS services like Redshift; Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies: Waterfall or Agile. Must have at least two (2) years of experience with the following: ML/AI Expertise: Classification, Regression, Clustering, Predictive Modeling.

Alternatively, Employer will also accept a Master's degree plus Three (3) years of experience in Analytics in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in analytics.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $170,000 to $180,000 per year.
