The Team

We are seeking a .NET/C# Developer who brings recent experience in DevOps practices. The primary responsibility will be software development using Microsoft .NET and C#, with additional duties supporting DevOps processes in Azure environments.

How you will contribute

Key Responsibilities

  • Build efficient, explainable code using Microsoft .NET and C#
  • Design, develop, and test APIs
  • Contribute to clean architecture and reusable components
  • Consult with clients and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business problems
  • Envision and help design elegant solutions to challenging business problems
  • Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle: requirements documentation, solution development, system configuration, testing, debugging, and support
  • Apply a practical approach to building software and solving problems
  • Support DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline management, Azure resource provisioning, and deployment automation
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application builds, deployments, and releases in Azure
  • Monitor application performance and system health using Azure monitoring tools
  • Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET and C#
  • Experience with relational databases (MSSQL or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in API development and testing
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
  • Recent experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, monitoring)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial approach
  • Interest in technology and its application to business processes
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.

The salary range is $85,000 - $105,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
