Senior Consultant Scrum Master

Systems Limited is seeking highly capable Scrum Masters with strong experience in the banking industry to drive Agile delivery across complex projects and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise, technical acumen, and hands-on Agile/Scrum leadership, particularly within core banking systems such as Temenos T24.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure the Scrum team adheres to Agile principles, values, and practices.
• Act as a servant leader to the team, removing obstacles and ensuring progress towards sprint goals.
• Track and optimize team velocity, promote continuous improvement, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Maintain and track project KPIs, sprint metrics, risks, and issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align project timelines, scope, and deliverables.
• Support creation and maintenance of project documentation, roadmaps, and release plans.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth technical execution.
• Understand system architecture and technical constraints to facilitate effective discussions with IT teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, banking clients, and internal technical teams during implementation cycles.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to convert requirements into actionable sprint backlogs.
• Assist in managing T24 implementation, upgrade, or enhancement projects.
• Facilitate smooth communication between functional consultants, technical teams, and business counterparts.
• Understand T24 modules, integration points, and typical challenges to support delivery teams effectively.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership teams.
• Ensure transparency and timely communication of project health, risks, and dependencies.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure alignment across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6-8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
• Proven experience in the banking industry (digital banking, core banking, payment systems, or related domains).
• Experience working on Temenos T24 implementation or upgrade projects is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, and IT processes.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.).
• Solid grasp of T24 modules, banking operations, or similar core banking platforms (preferred).
• Excellent leadership, conflict management, and stakeholder handling skills.
• Ability to coach teams on Agile concepts and drive continuous improvement.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications
• Temenos certifications (added advantage)
