Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Security Consultant to join our team. In this strategic role, you will be a key contributor in defining, architecting, and implementing cyber defense best practices for our clients across diverse industries. As a trusted advisor, you will help organizations build strategically defensible security programs, design and implement robust defensive countermeasures, and remediate complex security operations challenges. You will work closely with clients to assess their current security posture, identify gaps, and develop tailored solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead security operational assessments and maturity reviews to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Architect and implement security defensive controls across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Develop and deliver strategic roadmaps for cyber defense and incident recovery programs.
  • Collaborate with client teams to build and operationalize security defense programs aligned with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS).
  • Provide expert guidance on threat detection, response, and recovery capabilities.
  • Support clients before and after security incidents, helping them navigate containment, eradication, and recovery preparation phases.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity consulting, architecture, or operations, with a strong track record of delivering strategic security solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Deep expertise in security frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-53, and FIRST Controls, with practical experience applying them to build and operate security programs.
  • Proficiency in incident response and recovery planning, including leading post-incident investigations and developing actionable remediation and resilience strategies.
  • Hands-on experience designing recovery architectures, including integration with business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) programs across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-aligned strategies for executive and operational audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability in both operational execution and management consulting, including security program development and strategic roadmap creation.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA) are preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% and eligible to work in the US and Canada to support engagements across North America.

Arctiq is an equal opportunity employer. If you need any accommodations or adjustments throughout the interview process and beyond, please let us know. We celebrate our inclusive work environment and welcome members of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply.
