We’re looking for a Senior Content & Creative Strategy Writer — a strategic storyteller who excels at writing for demand generation, optimizing for search, and crafting content that captures every stage of the customer journey.

The Mission

To create high-quality, audience-driven content across platforms that strengthens brand leadership, drives engagement, and delivers measurable marketing impact — while ensuring editorial excellence and consistency.


What You’ll Do

Drive Engagement and Growth

  • Write and optimize newsletters, blogs, and campaigns that achieve top-tier open and click-through rates.
  • Use A/B testing, analytics, and audience insights to refine messaging and performance.
  • Increase time-on-page and engagement metrics for Spear Digest content.

Lead Content Strategy and Ideation

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, faculty, and SMEs to source compelling stories.
  • Identify content gaps and develop data-driven ideas that expand audience reach.

Deliver Editorial and Brand Excellence

  • Ensure all content reflects Spear’s tone, quality standards, and clinical leadership.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and seasonal priorities.
  • Produce accurate, on-brand content that supports our position as the trusted authority in dental continuing education.

Optimize for SEO and Discoverability

  • Apply best practices in keyword research, metadata, and linking strategies.
  • Conduct content audits and repurpose evergreen materials to boost traffic and conversion.

Collaborate and Streamline

  • Manage end-to-end content creation for digital channels, meeting all deadlines.
  • Partner with designers and marketers to ensure cohesive, visually engaging assets.
  • Introduce tools and templates to improve efficiency and collaboration.

Measure, Analyze, and Report

  • Track and report performance data monthly with actionable insights.
  • Use analytics to refine editorial strategy and demonstrate ROI through lead generation and conversions.

What You Bring

Core Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in content marketing, journalism, or digital communications.
  • Proven success writing for demand generation, SEO, and customer engagement.
  • Strong command of grammar, AP style, and persuasive storytelling.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Google Analytics, WordPress, and similar tools.
  • Experience writing for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or professional education industries a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex or clinical concepts into engaging, accessible content.
  • Balance between creative flair and data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable prioritizing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities.
