Position Summary:

The Senior Content Creator will create, curate and syndicate content to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion rates for assigned clients. The Senior Content Creator will plan, shoot and edit content, ensuring it is clear, compelling and properly distributed across all platforms adhering to a consistent brand philosophy. This is an integrated role that will work with specialists across the agency to bring to life brand strategies through tactical execution, including lo- and mid-fi photography, videography and editing. The ideal candidate is an expert in brand messaging and best practices to deliver key messages tactically across mediums.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content planning, including pre- and post-production tasks for lo- and mid-fi content shoots
    • Lead content brainstorm sessions and manage deliverables on all assigned accounts
    • Collaborate with Content Managers, Marketing Strategists, Art Directors and Copywriters to ensure content supports and strengthens user experience and meets outlined objectives
    • Generate scripts, shot lists, storyboards, and manage talent for lo- and mid-fi content production
    • Collaborate on wardrobe recommendations, prop lists and art direction for lo- and mid-fi content production
    • Manage raw footage and file organization for lo- and mid-fi content
  • Leading masterful content creation, including creating engaging, eye-catching and high-quality content for social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X and Threads
    • Photography
    • Lo-fi and mid-fi videography, including filming on iPhone
    • Photo and video editing
    • Execute best practices in brand messaging to deliver key messages tactically across mediums
    • Manage and maintain client voice across various mediums
    • Professionally interact with clients and talent on set
    • Review and provide feedback on content generated by Jr. Content Creators and Content Creators
  • Trend monitoring, including staying informed about current social trends to create relevant and timely social media content
  • Social media management, collaborating with Content Managers and Content Coordinators to execute holistic owned content strategies
    • Development of social media content calendars, including copy
  • Mentorship and/or leadership of assigned team members
  • Work with the Account and New Business teams to identify cross-sell opportunities and support new business pitches
  • Presentation and pitching of concepts and work internally and to client

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred (Strategic Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, Film or Public Relations)
  • 5-7 years of social media, photography/videography or agency experience preferred

Required Skills and Certifications:

  • Must be highly skilled in content creation, including photography, iPhone videography and photo and video editing
  • Must be highly skilled in basic lighting, composition and staging for lo- and mid-fi content creation
  • Must have the ability to compellingly communicate a brand’s story
  • Must have the ability to maintain client voice
  • Must have an extensive understanding of social platforms and how to tailor content to different stages of the marketing funnel
  • Must be a standout idea generator and problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be creatively-minded and forward-thinking
  • Must have high-level communications skills, both internal and client-facing
  • Must have leadership skills, to include leading cross-functional teams on set
  • Must have organizational skills and the ability to plan and maintain multiple clients, projects and deadlines
  • Must have the ability to work within teams in a fast-past environment while maintaining a problem-solving attitude
  • Must be detail-oriented and not afraid to ask questions to ensure each task is completed with precision and efficiency
  • Must be able to operate independently and within teams, problem-solve autonomously and make informed decisions
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PPT and Excel
