Job Summary

The Senior Content QA & Editor will oversee the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all content produced by the writing team. This role requires strong editing skills, familiarity with SEO and digital content standards, and the ability to mentor and guide junior writers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and proofread content for grammar, clarity, readability, and style compliance.
• Ensure all content is original, plagiarism-free, and aligned with brand voice.
• Conduct SEO checks, including keyword placement, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve content quality and performance.
• Verify facts, references, and data for accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain content quality guidelines and ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate with SEO, content, and marketing teams to optimize content for digital performance.
• Track and report on content quality metrics and performance.
• Mentor and support junior editors and content writers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in content editing, proofreading, or quality assurance.
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Experience with SEO best practices and digital content optimization.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with plagiarism detection tools.
• Knowledge of academic, technical, or professional writing standards.
• Understanding of content performance analytics.
• Leadership or mentoring experience in a content team.
