We are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on social media and digital content to lead content creation, planning, and execution for Spark Education Platform and its network of schools.
This role is ideal for a hands-on content expert who can think strategically, own content calendars end-to-end, and translate brand and business objectives into engaging, high-performing content across digital and social platforms. The role requires fluency in both Arabic and English, a strong editorial mindset, and experience managing content across multiple brands or accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning

Develop and own comprehensive content strategies and content calendars for SEP’s corporate channels and individual school accounts across social and digital platforms.

Translate brand, enrollment, and communication objectives into clear content themes, pillars, and storytelling angles.

Ensure a consistent tone of voice and visual direction aligned with corporate and school brand guidelines.
Content Creation & Management

Create, edit, and publish high-quality content including social posts, captions, reels, short-form videos, stories, carousels, and digital copy.

Oversee day-to-day execution of content calendars, ensuring timely publishing and platform-specific optimization.

Adapt and localize content for different schools, audiences, and platforms while maintaining brand cohesion.
Social Media & Community Engagement

Manage and grow social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.

Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring timely and appropriate engagement.

Support social listening and handle sensitive issues or crisis communication in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Performance Tracking & Optimization

Track content and social media performance using analytics tools and platform insights.

Analyze KPIs such as engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, and conversions.

Produce regular performance reports with insights, learnings, and content optimization recommendations.
Campaign & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Support and execute content-led campaigns for brand awareness, school launches, enrollment, and community engagement.

Collaborate closely with admissions, school leadership, marketing, and communications teams to surface stories, achievements, and key moments.

Coordinate with external agencies, videographers, photographers, or freelancers when required.
Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field.

3-4+ years of experience in content marketing or social media roles, ideally within education, lifestyle, or multi-brand environments.

Proven experience managing content calendars and content execution across multiple accounts.

Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is required.
Skills & Competencies

Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills for digital and social platforms.

Deep understanding of social media best practices, trends, and platform nuances.

Experience with content scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).

Ability to create or brief basic visual and video content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
