Job Summary

The Senior Content Strategist will develop and oversee content strategies across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with brand goals and audience needs. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, SEO knowledge, and data-driven decision-making to maximize content impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive content strategies for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct audience research, competitor analysis, and content audits to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content writers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with strategy and goals.
  • Optimize content strategy for SEO, engagement, and conversions.
  • Establish and maintain content calendars and publishing schedules.
  • Define content performance metrics and monitor analytics to refine strategy.
  • Guide content creation, ensuring brand voice, tone, and messaging are consistent.
  • Mentor junior content team members and provide strategic direction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, SEO best practices, and digital marketing innovations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with SEO, content performance metrics, and digital analytics tools.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience creating high-performing content strategies across multiple channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, content marketing tools, and SEO software.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of content marketing frameworks and storytelling techniques.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable content strategies.
  • Leadership experience in guiding content teams.
