DC Blox operates on a hybrid schedule. We work in the office Tuesday - Thursday and remote on Mondays and Fridays.

Description Summary:

The Senior Content Writer will support the execution of DC BLOX’s content strategy across owned, earned, and sales-enablement channels. This role is primarily responsible for researching, writing, and editing high-quality content that supports brand awareness, corporate communications, community engagement, and market development.

The Senior Content Writer will be a strong individual contributor who can translate complex technical and industry concepts into clear, compelling narratives for multiple audiences. This position plays a critical role in bringing content strategy to life through consistent, high-quality execution that both strengthens the DC BLOX brand and supports marketing to customers and industry audiences, while also developing materials that communicate the value of digital infrastructure to residents, community stakeholders, and local decision makers.

Essential Duties:

• Content Development & Execution
• • Write, edit, and proofread a wide range of content, including but not limited to:
  • • Website copy and landing pages
    • Community engagement and market development content
    • Email and campaign copy as needed
    • Blog posts and articles
    • Press releases, bylines, and contributed articles
    • Social media posts across company and community channels
  • Translate technical concepts related to data centers, fiber networks, subsea cable landing stations, hyperscale infrastructure, and connectivity into accessible, audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Develop localized educational materials on the value, benefits, and facts of data centers.
  • Conduct interviews with internal subject matter experts and synthesize insights into clear, accurate content.
• Collaboration & Workflow
• • Work closely with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to execute content priorities.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and leadership teams to gather input and validate accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, PR firms, and freelancers as needed to support content delivery.
  • Assist with content reporting by tracking outputs and contributing to performance insights.
• Brand & Quality Standards
• • Ensure all content aligns with DC BLOX brand voice, messaging pillars, and positioning.
  • Maintain high editorial standards for clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistency.
  • Apply and help enforce established content guidelines, templates, and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training/Experience:

• 3-5 years of professional writing or content marketing experience, preferably in B2B, technology, infrastructure, or adjacent industries.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of long-form and short-form content.
• Proven ability to write about complex or technical topics clearly and accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in data centers, fiber networks, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, or related fields is a major plus.
