Senior Contracts Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Contracts Engineer will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts across complex EPC projects, ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and commercial protection of the company’s interests. This role involves leading contract administration activities, supporting project teams with contractual interpretation, and driving effective handling of claims, variations, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging technical, commercial, and legal aspects of projects while ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all contract-related activities from tendering and award to execution and close-out
  • Draft, review, and negotiate main contracts, subcontracts, and amendments
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications
  • Lead the preparation and evaluation of claims, variations, and EOT (Extension of Time) requests
  • Identify contractual risks and support in developing mitigation strategies
  • Provide contractual guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and legal teams on contractual matters
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all contract-related communications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in EPC / energy / infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard contract forms
  • Solid experience in claims management and dispute resolution
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
