Job Purpose:


Coordinate and support end-to-end international freight, customs clearing, and documentation processes to ensure timely import/export operations in alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate international shipping activities including booking, tracking, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage import and export documentation ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, declarations, and customs documents.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives within international freight operations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on shipment performance and clearing cycle times.
  • Ensure adherence to international trade compliance, safety, and quality standards.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports:


  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety, Quality & Environment:


  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 0–1 year experience in international freight, customs clearing, or logistics operations.

Skills:


  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
