We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team and support SurveySparrow’s fast-growing SaaS business. This role will support a broad range of corporate, commercial, compliance, and intellectual property matters, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. The Senior Corporate Counsel will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s operations and growth are supported by sound legal guidance, efficient contract management, and robust compliance practices.
Job Description

Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer contracts, Saas agreements and in support of fast-paced sales transactions.

Assist with standardization of documentation and agreements across multiple jurisdictions.

Manage and streamline contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes to ensure scalability.

Provide legal advice on a wide variety of issues including data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, employment, and general corporate matters.

Partner with security and compliance teams to support audits, certifications, and customer data protection obligations.

Review and update internal governance policies; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Draft and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and related privacy documentation.

Advise on compliance with global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PDPA, etc.)

Manage trademark filings, prosecution, and renewals, with a focus on U.S. trademark registration and enforcement.

Provide guidance on trademark clearance, conflicts, and brand protection strategies.

Assist in reviewing third-party intellectual property risks in contracts.

Apply effective risk management techniques and proactively offer advice on possible legal issues.

Support policy implementation, training, and awareness programs for employees.

Requirements

3-5 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to SaaS, technology, or data-driven companies.

Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Should have good legal aptitude, good grasp over the basic contract terminologies and structure, and good working knowledge of contracts .
