We have been exclusively retained on a non-public search for a well-established company seeking a seasoned attorney (12 or more years of relevant experience) to join their management team for a role focused on managing and mitigating legal and regulatory risks (including sourcing and managing outside law firms), counseling on a wide range of matters, including contracts, corporate governance, compliance, employment, marketing, and intellectual property, and negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements. The company is a highly regarded leader in the hospitality industry, and morale amongst employees is high. The base salary is $230,000, an annual bonus of twenty percent based on company profitability, plus health and other benefits. The role is four days per week, with the expectation of in-office work at least three days per week (Southern Connecticut). The ideal candidate will (1) have experience in-house and at a law firm, (2) be admitted in Connecticut, (3) possess a strong law school academic record, and (4) have excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
