Job Title: Senior Corporate Lawyer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to provide expert legal support on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advising the business, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, company law, and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring activities
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and stakeholders as required
• Advise senior management on legal risks and mitigation strategies
• Oversee corporate filings, licenses, and statutory requirements
• Support dispute resolution and litigation management when necessary
• Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations impacting the business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in corporate or commercial law
• Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

• In-house legal experience
• Experience in multinational or corporate environments
• Exposure to M&A transactions and complex commercial agreements
