THE ROLE
The Senior Corporate Paralegal, Employment provides high-level legal and strategic administrative support to the SVP, Employment Counsel in managing employment-related legal matters across a complex, national organization. This role serves as a key operational partner in tracking, organizing, and responding to employment claims, agency charges, litigation, and internal investigations.
This is a hybrid position with a strong preference for candidates located near Culver City, CA. Must be able to work in office at least three days a week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead tracking and management of all employment-related legal matters.

Draft and finalize responses to EEOC and state agency charges.

Manage and monitor critical legal deadlines.

Support employment litigation including discovery coordination and legal holds.

Oversee matter management systems and reporting.

Coordinate with outside counsel and review invoices.

Assist with internal investigations and compliance initiatives.

Prepare executive-level summaries of employment matters.

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification strongly preferred.

7+ years of paralegal experience with significant focus on employment law.

Experience independently managing EEOC and state agency charge responses.
Skills and Abilities

Strong employment litigation support experience.

In-house corporate legal department experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Exceptional written communication and organizational skills.
COMPENSATION
This role offers a base salary range of $100,000–$120,000 annually, plus a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Location: Hybrid role based in Culver City, CA. Candidates must be local and able to work onsite at least three days per week.
