Senior Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cost Control Engineer to manage and optimize project costs, ensuring the successful financial execution of ACC’s high-profile construction projects across Egypt, KSA, Africa, and beyond. If you have a strong background in cost control and construction management, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to budget management, this role is for you.


What You'll Achieve:

Cost Management and Monitoring

  • Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring costs remain aligned with financial targets and timelines.
  • Analyze and track project costs to avoid overruns, preparing regular reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project expenditures, ensuring that all resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.

Project Coordination and Financial Analysis

  • Work closely with project teams, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure costs are controlled within the project scope.
  • Analyze cost variations and prepare financial impact reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Ensure accurate financial forecasting and develop strategies for maintaining cost efficiency throughout project execution.

Risk Management and Cost Control

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Optimize project profitability by introducing cost-saving measures and enhancing financial processes.
  • Ensure adherence to ACC’s financial policies and cost control procedures.

Stakeholder Communication and Documentation

  • Maintain effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, and procurement teams, ensuring all financial information is accurately conveyed.
  • Ensure that all cost control documentation is properly maintained and aligned with ACC’s compliance standards.


What You’ll Bring to ACC:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 6+ years of experience in cost control for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial forecasting within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in cost control tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage complex projects under pressure.
