Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and
equipment costs, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine cost
requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather and validate
project information for accurate estimations.

Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project
requirements and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct market research to stay updated on current pricing trends and availability of
construction materials and services.

Develop and maintain cost databases and estimation templates to improve accuracy and
efficiency in future projects.

Prepare and present cost analysis reports to senior management, providing insights into
project feasibility and financial impacts.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices in all cost
estimation activities.

Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals, ensuring competitive and
accurate pricing strategies.

Develop project budgets based on drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
-
Strong knowledge of BOQs, construction methods, and market rates.

5–8 years in Construction Estimation, with at least 3–5 years specifically on the Developer or Contractor side.
