Role Description
We are excited about expanding our Legal Team! Ironclad is looking for a Senior Counsel, Employment Legal with 7+ years experience to serve as the primary advisor on all aspects of employment law and support a growing volume and pace of complex employment work and related issues as the company scales. This role would report to and work collaboratively with the Senior Director, Corporate & Employment to provide guidance on employment related legal matters that align with our company culture and global business objectives. This role will have a key role in a broad range of employment and HR issues, including policy and process development, employee relations issues, investigations and compliance. The role will work closely with People and Legal leadership.

Positive, business-focused attitude with excellent judgment, high integrity, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and on time.
Ability to quickly assess business challenges and understand business objectives, making timely and pragmatic recommendations in light of company priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, collaborate with and build in partner relationships internally and externally.
In-depth understanding of how legal issues impact different parts of the organization and ability to translate complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
Strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to build and scale programs (including internationally) and lead cross-functional initiatives (including having led change management efforts).
Deep understanding of the modern Legal tech stack and surrounding LegalTech ecosystem.
Benefits:
Base Salary Range: $185,000.00 - $225,000.00
The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate.
