Senior Creative StoryBook Illustrator

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Creative Illustrator to join our growing team of visual storytellers and designers. In this role, you’ll bring stories, characters, and ideas to life through engaging, expressive illustrations for projects such as children’s storybooks, educational content, learning apps, and marketing creatives across digital and print media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Illustrate children’s storybooks with expressive, diverse, and story-driven characters.
• Develop creative concepts, character turnarounds, and scene compositions that reflect the brand’s tone and resonate with the target audience.
• Collaborate closely with authors, writers, designers, and other creative team members to ensure visual direction supports content goals.
• Design illustrations that are age-appropriate, educational, and visually captivating.
• Make revisions based on feedback while maintaining consistency in style and quality.
• Manage multiple illustration projects at once while meeting deadlines.
• Stay up to date with trends in children’s illustration and educational visual design.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an illustrator for children’s books, educational content, or similar projects (portfolio required).
• Strong skills in character design, environment illustration, and composition.
• Proficiency in illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or similar.
• Ability to work in different art styles (e.g., flat, cartoon, hand-drawn, whimsical).
• Excellent visual storytelling and creative thinking skills.
• Experience in preparing illustrations for both print and digital formats is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Background in early education or ed-tech content.
• Basic animation skills or familiarity with tools like After Effects.
• Understanding of layout design and branding principles.

Timings: Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm
This is a full-time, office based position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per month
