About the Role:
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will engage in comprehensive data analysis, contributing significantly to key projects and driving actionable insights. You will work with a variety of data sets and employ advanced statistical techniques to support predictive modeling and business optimization efforts. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid data science foundation who are eager to tackle more complex challenges and make a tangible impact on the business.

Responsibilities:

Monitor key financial KPIs like revenue and transaction volumes.
Consolidate data from invoicing databases, Salesforce, and Arrow.
Segment metrics by customer attributes to identify trends.
Provide insights for strategic planning and performance reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment.
Analyze data to find growth opportunities and solve business challenges.
Develop models to identify trends and test hypotheses.
Refine business models and build data-backed business cases.
Streamline and automate reports and dashboards.
Promote a data-driven culture.
Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve these goals.
Mentor junior data scientists and share knowledge within the team.

Skills:

Proficient in data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports
Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib for data transformation and analysis
Skilled in automating data workflows using Python, including Excel automation with openpyxl and task automation using custom scripts
Familiarity with Excel macros and VBA for automating repetitive tasks and enhancing reporting efficiency
Working knowledge of Advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, dynamic formulas) and SQL for data manipulation and reporting
Comfortable working with large datasets and optimizing queries for performance, by using analytics / cloud tools
Ability to understand business workflows and underlying challenges, and proactively propose more efficient alternatives to drive continuous improvement
