Prince William County Government is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join the Office of Performance Management (OPM). Prince William County Performance Management Office seeks an experienced, organized, and technically versatile professional to lead strategic enablement initiatives throughout the organization.
About This Role:
The Senior Data Analyst within the Performance Management Office will support all collection, visualization, governance, and technical systems administration for the Performance program. The analyst will be responsible for the collection and visualization of KPI’s related to the strategic plan and its work plans. The analyst will also aid in the development of data collection and analysis initiatives in collaboration with other county offices, agencies, and departments. To be successful, the candidate has experience with multiple visualization tools, including but not limited to Power BI, Tableau, Oracle EMP, etc. Candidates should possess expertise in the development of strategically relevant KPI’s and their associated collection processes to enable organizations to make data-driven decisions.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of experience in local government program/policy analysis.

Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field such as economics, public policy, statistics, accounting, or analytics.
Professional certifications in relevant fields: Certified Public Manager (CMP), Data Analytics, CompTIA Data+.
7 years of professional work experience in local government budget, performance management, or financial analysis.
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting organizational performance programs and KPI tracking.
Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion, Smart View, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel experience.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with some evenings and weekends from January to May. Primarily telework, but there is a need to attend some meetings in person within and around Prince William County.
Starting Salary Range: $70,921.50 - $97,968
