Job Summary: At Bernick’s, data isn’t just numbers — it’s how we make better decisions for our people, customers, and business. The Senior Data Analyst plays a key role in helping our Soft Drink and Beer teams turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll work closely with Sales, Category Management, Operations, and Leadership to spot opportunities and influence decisions that matter. While you’ll support our Vending business too (about 20% of the role), your primary focus will be on our core beverage operations.

Responsibilities:

Beverage Sales, Vending & Category Analytics

• Analyze Soft Drink and Beer performance by brand, package, channel, and customer
• Evaluate pricing strategies, promotions, and supplier program ROI
• Build dashboards and insights that explain why things are happening — not just what
• Partner with Sales and Category teams to optimize product mix, distribution, and execution

Data Engineering & Reporting

• Develop dashboards for beverage, route, and vending performance
• Build data models integrating ERP systems
• Improve data quality and automate reporting to reduce manual work

Strategic & Financial Analytics

• Support annual planning, forecasting, and supplier negotiations
• Evaluate pricing changes, promotions, and new product launches
• Analyze customer profitability and identify margin improvement opportunities

• Set up and maintain customer accounts; ensure accurate and up-to-date information
• Order, distribute, and maintain office supply inventory
• Prepare and send outgoing mail, coordinate inter-company mail, and manage the mail machine including funding, rate updates, and maintenance needs
• Provide miscellaneous administrative and office support as needed
• Provide backup accounting support including processing driver deposits, matching Accounts Payable checks, reconciling invoices, and applying Accounts Receivable payments.

Hours of this position: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

• Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

• Business-minded with an understanding of beverage distribution, categories, and route-based operations
• Technical confidence with Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel, and ERP/DSD systems (VIP/Encompass)
• Analytical Expertise - Strong modeling, data visualization, and KPI ownership.
• Communication: Translates complex data into clear, compelling stories tailored to each audience.
• Influence & Change Leadership: Drives cross-functional alignment and adoption of recommendations.
• Business Acumen: Understands beverage distribution, category dynamics, and route-based operations.
• Technical Skills: Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel, ERP/DSD systems (VIP/Encompass).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Physical & Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the warehouse or operations facilities.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.

Base Compensation:

$90,000 - $110,000

Potential Other Compensation (based on position eligibility):
