Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in expanding Apprenti’s internal analytical capacity and enabling strategic, real-time use of data across the organization. While Apprenti collects a broad array of data, current systems are largely fragmented and oriented toward compliance and grant reporting. This role focuses on transforming operational and compliance data into integrated insights that inform decision making, evaluate program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analytics & Evaluation

Design and execute advanced analyses to evaluate program performance, delivery models, and participant outcomes.

Conduct cohort, trend, and comparative analyses to assess differential outcomes across demographics, geographies, and program structures.

Develop evaluation frameworks, metrics, and methodologies to support learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Reporting & Visualization

Build and maintain dashboards and analytical reports that move beyond compliance to support strategic decision making.

Ensure reporting aligns with organizational goals, evaluation needs, and external stakeholder expectations, including funders and partners.
Data Integration & Quality
-
Partner with internal teams to integrate data from the CRM and other systems into unified analytical views.

Identify data quality issues, gaps, and limitations. Making recommendations for practical solutions to improve data reliability and usability.

Support the development and adoption of data governance standards, documentation, and best practices.

Assist in managing Apprenti’s central data system (Salesforce) and system integrations (i.e. Form Assembly, CongaSign, Zapier).
Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor and contribute to building a high-performing analytics function.

Collaborate with data and evaluation subject matter experts to align internal analytics with best in class evaluation approaches.

Understand org-wide strategic goals and partner with senior leaders, organizational teams, and external stakeholders to define analytical questions and priorities.
Key Skills & Competencies
-
8+ years of progressive experience in business analytics and experience in Salesforce Nonprofit Instance.
-
Demonstrated skills managing data within Salesforce, including data import, cleansing, and ensuring data accuracy.

Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects. Ability to lead cross functional projects and deliver high-impact CRM solutions on time and within budget.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable terms.

Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills - ability to frequently troubleshoot issues and find solutions within the platform.

Extensive experience with tools like SQL, Excel, JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, and Tableau/Power BI.

Strong knowledge in web development languages including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript.

Salesforce App Builders and Platform Developer I Certification preferred.

Demonstrated experience in object-oriented programming using languages including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, C++, Apex, Python, Ruby preferred.
Physical Duties & Work Environment:

Remote work in a largely virtual environment.

Ability to sit/stand at a computer for extended periods of time.

Ability to take phone calls and video calls throughout the day with internal and external clients.

Ability to actively work without frequent interruption or distraction during standard business hours in the time zone of residence, with some flexibility to work outside of standard hours on occasion.
What We Offer
Apprenti pays a gross annualized base salary range for this position between $105,000 and $115,000 based on qualifications, skills, experience, company values, and culture alignment. Additionally, we offer the following key benefits for this full-time role:
