  • Translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights that directly support product performance, client reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Own data integrity, quality monitoring, and documentation for a defined business domain, ensuring reliable and consistent data delivery across stakeholders.
  • Support and enhance scalable cloud-based data pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving data quality or governance issues.
  • Serve as a cross-functional data partner to product, engineering, and business teams, collaborating to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
  • Lead root-cause analysis of data discrepancies and drive resolution through established governance and quality processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements in data workflows, automation, and validation processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Maintain and optimize Wellnecity’s analytic environment (e.g., Postgres, Knime), designing robust queries and dashboards that meet evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts by providing guidance on best practices in querying, validation, documentation, and analytical rigor.
  • Establish and maintain reliable data connections with external data providers and performance partners, ensuring compliance with data standards and governance requirements.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data operations, or a related field. A Master’s degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.
  • Experience working with healthcare data within the healthcare industry (eligibility, enrollment, medical and pharmacy claims).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including designing moderately complex queries and optimizing performance for analytical use cases.
  • Strong programming experience in Python (JavaScript familiarity preferred), with demonstrated ability to build maintainable analytical workflows.
  • Experience supporting and improving modern ETL processes and cloud-based data pipelines (e.g., SnapLogic, Airflow, Mongo DB, or comparable tools).
  • Proven ability to analyze moderately complex datasets, identify root causes of data issues, and deliver accurate, data-supported solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience owning data quality and integrity within a defined domain, including validation, documentation, and governance best practices.
  • Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and deliver work across multiple initiatives with high accuracy and accountability.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving processes, automation, or quality controls to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
