Senior Data Analyst Lead

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the analytics function, oversee reporting across SQL and Tableau, and mentor a team of analysts. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Head of Data, and other stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, SQL expertise, and proven leadership experience to transform data into strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design, writing, and optimization of complex SQL queries for analyzing data from our MSSQL database.
• Build, automate, and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Mentor, guide, and manage a team of junior and mid-level analysts.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs aligned with business and product goals.
• Ensure high data quality through validation and structuring from various internal sources.
• Deliver concise, actionable, and insightful reporting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analyze data trends, user behavior, and operational metrics to support strategic business and product decisions.
• Participate in team planning, project prioritization, and contribute to overall analytics strategy.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills with experience in MSSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics and visualization tools.
• Proven ability to define, track, and monitor KPIs.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a data analytics team is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking mindset.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
