Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer with a passion for data to join our team of professionals.

In this senior position, you will work with clients from various business sectors such as Finance, Telecom, Media, Insurance, Oil & Gas, Pharma, and others, delivering impactful data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced dashboards and reports to ensure high-quality data visualization
• Architect and implement complex data models and oversee data preparation, profiling, and quality assurance
• Analyze business challenges and technical environments to provide strategic recommendations
• Oversee security management and administration of the reporting environment to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Make architectural decisions and manage testing processes to align with best practices and organizational objectives
• Act as the primary contact for product owners, gather requirements, facilitate demo sessions, and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to the improvement of analytics processes, tools, and methodologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense, Tibco Spotfire, or similar
• Expertise in Data Analytics and Data Visualization concepts
• Background in developing complex reports and dashboards for enterprise environments
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, MySQL
• Understanding of data architecture concepts including landing and staging areas, data cleansing, profiling, security, and modern data platforms such as DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP
• Skills in data product testing and validation
• Capability to lead and work effectively in agile development environments such as SCRUM and Kanban
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Background in designing and building ETL pipelines
• Skills in Python programming
