Senior Data Engineer

Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platforms that empower analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and architectures.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into centralized repositories (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Cloud Platforms).
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure clean, accurate, and timely data delivery.
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance across all systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in data engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer (or similar role).
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or Java/Scala.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi).
• Proficiency in big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and security best practices.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
