Senior Data Engineer
India
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of and experience using Data Governance tools (e.g., Informatica Axon, Data360, Collibra, etc.) highly preferred
- Design and Develop mechanism of oversight policies and regulations using Python, AWS.
- Maintaining, testing and implementing disaster recovery procedures.
- Implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python ) to manage AWS services.
- Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
- Developing software components in Python that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
- Implement tools to advance and measure the quality of data held in various systems. Create metadata repositories, data lineage flows, data inventory and data catalog integrations.
- Support research of Data Governance and Data Quality methodologies and tools. Design and implement reports for Stakeholders and Data Governance internal and external audits.
- Design workflows and implement processes to enable and implement audit processes, provide oversight on policies and standards.
- Work on projects and other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of data governance & data quality
- Expertise at Intermediate level on Python, AWS.
- Technical proficiency with MS Office, including Access and Visio
- Working knowledge of relational database and query concepts
- Ability to influence across multiple levels
- Must be effective at prioritizing and managing complex tasks
- Knowledge of IT development, data management and change processes
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Strong communication skills
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree
