Senior Data Engineer

Location: Near FC College Lahore (On-site)

Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

● Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from internal systems, APIs, and external data sources.

● Develop and optimize data architectures, warehouses, and storage solutions.

● Clean, validate, and transform raw data for downstream analytics and reporting.

● Write and optimize complex SQL queries and data models.

● Manage and monitor data workflows, performance, and reliability.

● Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and security across systems.

● Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to support reporting and business intelligence requirements.
● Automate repetitive data processes and improve workflow efficiency.

● Maintain documentation for pipelines, datasets, schemas, and infrastructure.

● Continuously evaluate and improve Droidor’s data stack, architecture, and engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience

● 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

● Strong expertise in SQL and database optimization.

● Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

● Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data processing platforms.

● Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

● Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.

● Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar platforms.

● Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and scalable architecture design.

● Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems.

● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Haves

● Experience with Spark, Kafka, or real-time data streaming tools.

● Exposure to healthcare or SaaS datasets.

● Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.

● Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation.

● Experience supporting machine learning pipelines.
