Senior Data Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly analytical and driven Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and regional functions to deliver impactful insights and scalable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business intelligence and reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions and actionable deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources including SQL databases, Excel files, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Build and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and data workflows to ensure efficient and reliable data movement.
• Design and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support scalable reporting and analytics.
• Write advanced SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting and analytics environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI reports, dashboards, data pipelines, and data sources to resolve issues proactively.
• Deliver clear and impactful insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through data storytelling and visualization.
• Process, clean, and validate large datasets for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Continuously stay updated on emerging BI, analytics, cloud, and data technologies and recommend best practices.
• Support organizational change management initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with database management systems such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Good understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Python and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in fast-paced and collaborative environments; FMCG industry experience is preferred.
