Senior Data Engineer - Hybrid Madrid (3 on site 2 remote)

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a strategic project with one of our global clients in the wealth management sector. You will be part of a high-performing team made up of top-tier professionals, collaborating closely with both IT and business stakeholders to deliver impactful and scalable solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging, high-visibility projects in an international environment, while further developing your expertise within a leading organization in the financial domain.

About the role:

Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including complex query development, performance tuning, and optimization
Solid experience working with and extending established data models (Data Vault, dimensional modeling, SCD, 3NF)
Strong hands-on experience building scalable, SQL-driven data transformations
Python knowledge is a strong plus, particularly for automation, API integrations, and workflow optimization
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools is highly desirable
Previous experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments is a strong advantage

Nice to have

Experience with Temenos T24/Transact, Temenos Triple’A, or similar core banking platforms

Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
