Senior Data Engineer - Informatica Developer

We are looking for a “Senior Data Engineer – Informatica Developer ” who is excited about data and eager to join a large team working with our finance client.This is a remote position for a banking transformation project in Türkiye. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines using Informatica for efficient ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity throughout the entire data lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and procedures to extract, transform, and load data into Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of data systems.
• Collaborate with data architects to design and implement scalable and efficient data models.
• Simplify and optimize the ETL flows and transformations
• Support team in technical assessments, analyses, data modeling, design phase and data quality testing life cycle

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Data Warehousing or Data Engineering
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Oracle databases and Informatica ETL tools
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
• Familiarity with SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques for Oracle databases
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices
• Experience with other databases and ETL tools is a plus
• Experience in BI Tools preferably Power BI is a plus
• Having a background in banking is a significant advantage.
