This position works onsite in Des Moines, IA. Candidate must live within a reasonable commute of Des Moines, IA or be able to relocate.

Works with complex data pipelines, designing efficient data architectures, and developing automated systems to guarantee the availability of clean, accurate, and structured data.

Responsibilities:

. Ingests, processes, transforms, and models' data to ensure it is ready for consumption.

. Works with complex data pipelines, designing efficient data architectures, and developing automated systems to guarantee the availability of clean, accurate, and structured data.

. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, and data analysts, to improve operational efficiency by enhancing data flow, integration, and accessibility to support real-time decision-making, business intelligence, and analytical initiatives.

. Identifies and addresses data quality issues and implements best practices for data governance and security.

Requirements:
Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS, or related field.

Experience:

4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Data Warehouse Developer, Database Analyst, or similar duties under a different job title.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

4 years of experience with:

1. Data engineering and/or designing/developing data warehouses;

2. Azure Data Factory;

3. Azure Data Lake;

4. SQL Scripting;

5. MS SQL Server and/or other DBMS;

6. Azure DevOps;

7. Visio or other modeling tools; and

8. Agile or Waterfall methodology.
