Kemat Consulting Limited is a specialized consulting firm focused on delivering high-quality financial data solutions. We are seeking a Senior Data Quality & Reporting Analyst to lead our data-focused QA efforts, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial datasets and reporting systems.

This is a hands-on QA role centered around data validation, testing of business intelligence (BI) tools, and issue lifecycle management, where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, actionable data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for data validation, with a focus on positive and negative testing approaches.
• Conduct in-depth QA for financial data, ensuring successful data migrations, transformations, and report outputs.
• Test dashboards and reports (Power BI, SSRS) to validate business logic, data accuracy, formatting, and performance.
• Utilize testing frameworks and methodologies to standardize data quality assurance processes.
• Identify, document, and report defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact assessment.
• Manage the full bug lifecycle — from detection and logging to retesting and closure — and escalate critical defects when needed.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts during development, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
• Maintain all test artifacts (e.g., test cases, screenshots, logs) in shared repositories like DevOps and OneDrive.
• Provide clear and concise QA reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and test coverage.
• Continuously recommend enhancements to QA processes, contributing to the evolution of QA best practices and frameworks.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data QA, validation, or data-centric testing in enterprise or financial environments.
• Strong proficiency in:
• SQL for data validation and test case development
• BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS
• ETL testing and data pipeline QA
• Bug tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with structured testing frameworks, methodologies (e.g., black box testing), and defect management processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and keen attention to detail with the ability to spot anomalies and data discrepancies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills — able to articulate issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize, escalate critical issues effectively, and work under tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
