As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will:

  • Work with stake-holders throughout the organization to find opportunities for leveusingpany data to drive business solutions.
  • Develop a use case roadmap for business problem areas and frame them into Data Science or modelling problems.
  • Strategize and implement development of data products by working with Client Support, Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Be part of a global team that uses your expertise and challenges you to innovate and lead.
  • Support clients across industries such as Retail, CPG, Travel, and Finance in the digital marketing ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Extract, mine, and analyze data from multiple sources to drive optimization and improvement of products.
  • Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Build, select, and optimize models using ML/AI techniques.
  • Present technical solutions to internal and external stake-holders in a clear and formal setting.
  • Develop BI-based deliverables using tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Excel.
  • Support stake-holders with ad-hoc business problems, charting, and reporting.
  • Build project plans, maintain to-do lists, organize work, and follow coding ethics with attention to detail.
  • Build self-service tools for error detection, diagnosis, and predictive metrics.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science).
  • 4+ years professional experience in the field of data science or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Python/Scala/SQL and Big Data technologies with experience in AWS and Spark (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms such as logistic regression, linear regression, lasso regression, k-means, random forest (minimum 2 years).
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos with ability to deliver actionable insights.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Experience managing solution development through agile/scrum and tools like JIRA.
  • Understanding of digital marketing in industries such as Travel or Retail.

Preferred:
  • Professional experience with R, Dash, Looker, or Domo.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics techniques such as multi-touch attribution, market mix modelling, fraud analytics, customer journey analysis, churn modelling, segmentation, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and recommendation engines.
