Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join and lead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, build, and deploy predictive models and AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines strong statistical and machine learning expertise with excellent communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models
• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, business stakeholders)
• Contribute to the development of scalable data science workflows and best practices
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to technical knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science or a related analytical role
• Strong proficiency in Python or R , SQL , and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms , statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
• Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation , and applied modeling workflows
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or distributed processing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud) for data and analytics workloads
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience building AI-powered solutions , analytics platforms, or decision-support systems
• Knowledge of Generative AI , prompt engineering, or applied AI use cases in business environments
