Job Overview
Bell is seeking experienced Senior Data Storage (SAN)/Backup
Administrators to support, design, implement, and maintain
enterprise‑level storage and backup infrastructure. This role requires
deep hands-on expertise in NetApp ONTAP, Hitachi, SAN Brocade, and
enterprise backup tools such as NetBackup or Commvault.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, proactive, and
capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with
minimal oversight.

applicable)
- May require access to HSPII/PSI data
- All applications accessed must comply with Bell Corporate Security
standards
Technical Environment & Access
- Ability to make voice calls within US/Canada/India
- No specialized hardware/lab needs beyond standard provisioning

- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Professional certifications (Storage / Backup / Networking) are an
asset

Main Responsibilities
- Perform technology watch and contribute to strategy and future
storage/backup architecture evolution
- Support and manage NetBackup and storage products across enterprise
environments
- Implement and manage multiprotocol storage: FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS
(primarily NetApp NAS)
- Execute and troubleshoot daily backup operations, including restores
and RCA for failures
- Perform large-scale data migrations for Solaris, AIX, Linux, and
Windows environments
- Collaborate with system administrators to resolve storage
performance or access issues
- Execute LUN masking, storage allocations, zoning, data migrations
- Perform performance monitoring and configure alerts and
notifications
- Develop and update CLI scripts (NetBackup automation, fiber switch
configuration, etc.)
- Plan and execute firmware upgrades and storage array changes
- Work in Agile teams, contribute to Epics/User Stories, and define
technical requirements
