
Senior Database Administrator II

Design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems and associated software

Support in performing advanced database administration tasks, including performance tuning, capacity planning, and database optimization

Develop and enforce database security policies and procedures, ensuring data privacy and compliance
-
Lead database-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related initiatives
-
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity, including high availability and disaster recovery
-
Analyze and resolve complex database issues and performance bottlenecks
-
Stay updated with emerging database technologies and industry best practices
-
Create and maintain database documentation and standards
Requirements
-
Atleast 4-5 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on a specific DBMS (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)

Well versed in SQL Server Performance tuning & troubleshooting using DMVS, Extended Events, Profiling, Wait Statistics etc
-
Good understanding of the database underlying infrastructure such as Storage, Networking components and Server Hardware
-
Self-motivated, quick learner and a responsive team player with ability to work under pressure and deliver quality outcomes

Excellent written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
-
Minimum Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivale
