The Position
We are looking for an experienced SSRS Developer to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with data analysis, and the ability to transform business requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards that support decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy SSRS reports (tabular, matrix, charts, dashboards).

Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support reporting needs.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.

Optimize existing SSRS reports for performance, accuracy, and usability.

Maintain and support deployed reports, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.

Work with ETL/data integration teams to ensure accurate data is available for reporting.

Implement report security and access control based on user roles.

Document report design, data sources, and maintenance procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3–5 years of experience working with SSRS in a development role.

Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions).

Experience with SSRS Report Builder and Visual Studio for report development.

Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational database design.

Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data/reporting issues.

Strong communication skills for interacting with business and technical teams.
Preferred/Good to Have
-
Experience with Power BI, SSIS (Integration Services), or SSAS (Analysis Services).

Experience working with VB.NET / C#.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for SQL queries and SSRS reports.

Experience in creating mobile/interactive reports.
