A growing fintech in Bahrain is looking for someone to bring more structure and control to the way software gets delivered.

They’re building customer-facing products in a regulated environment, while also putting the internal foundations in place for the next stage of growth. The engineering team is growing, priorities are moving quickly, and they need someone who can create clarity across the work, keep delivery on track, and make sure the wider business has confidence in what’s happening.

This is a role for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable sitting in the middle of moving parts.

The Role:

We’re supporting a client hiring a Senior Delivery Manager to help tighten up delivery across the engineering function.

This is not a role for someone who only wants to run stand-ups and update tickets. They need someone who can bring shape to the day-to-day, keep teams aligned, surface issues early, and make it easier for engineering, product, and leadership to stay on the same page.

You’ll be working across different areas of the tech team and helping create a more joined-up way of planning, tracking, and communicating work. If things are unclear, you bring clarity. If something is drifting, you spot it early. If leadership asks where things stand, you can give a straight answer.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Driving day-to-day delivery coordination across the engineering team.
• Keeping work visible, organised, and moving in the right direction.
• Working closely with engineering and product to improve planning and follow-through.
• Making sure blockers, risks, and dependencies are surfaced early.
• Helping teams stay aligned on priorities, timelines, and ownership.
• Building a clearer reporting rhythm so leadership can see progress without chasing updates.
• Supporting better sprint planning, estimation, and delivery habits over time.
• Facilitating the meetings that matter and keeping them useful.
• Using data, trends, and delivery patterns to improve how the team operates.
• Helping put better structure in place as the company continues to grow.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years in delivery, project, or technical program management
• Experience working closely with software engineers and product stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay on top of multiple moving pieces.
• Confidence bringing structure into environments that are still evolving.
• A proactive mindset, you don’t wait for problems to become obvious.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep both technical and non-technical people aligned.
• Comfort working in agile environments, but with a practical approach rather than rigid process.
• A good eye for where delivery is getting stuck and what needs to change.
• Enough technical understanding to follow engineering discussions and ask the right questions.
• A calm, hands-on style and the credibility to work across teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Exposure to startup or scale-up businesses.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, and GitHub.
• An understanding of modern engineering workflows and release cycles.
• Arabic language skills.
• A technical background or some previous coding exposure.
