The Demand Plannier will oversee demand forecasting and analysis to ensure optimal stock availability, inventory turnover, and profitability. This role requires regular alignment with marketing, sales, and finance teams to capture insights and adjust forecasts accordingly in line with seasonal trends, promotions and other industry trends. Key responsibilities include guiding supply planning teams to plan volumes into warehouse and stores.

: Conduct demand forecasting using data insights and coordinating with marketing, sales, and finance during monthly demand review meetings.

Inventory Planning and Stock Level Management
: Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking, managing stock availability, and balancing inventory turnover and holding costs.

Adjusting Forecasts for Promotions and Market Changes
: Continuously update forecasts to reflect new information, such as promotional activity, market shifts, or product launches. Ensuring forecasts are responsive to current events and maintain alignment with overall business goals.

Supplier and Vendor Coordination
: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure they can meet demand requirements and adjust forecasts as needed to align with lead times and service levels.

: Analyze demand trends, inventory turnover, stock value, and identify margin improvement opportunities.

Cross-Functional Alignment
: Lead monthly demand review meetings to align forecasts with commercial, marketing, and financial strategies.

Requirements

2-5 years of experience in supply and demand planning, preferably within the regional retail sector
