Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Execute new Products projects and Current Products for complete aggregate and or a part of aggregate. This involves design of parts, subsystems and systems
• Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.
• Expert in DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and other design tool
• Conduct Design review with cross functional team
• Ensure design release timing, quality and cost.
• Communicate with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.
• Manage complete design release process in TC for prototype and production.
• Provide inputs to Platform on new products and Current products.
• Develop Engineering design project plan along with milestones to synchronize with main project plan for the product; Review sub-module detailed plans and suggest modifications as required
• Work with cross functional team to gather inputs and ensure that design is workable as per KPI

Taking role of Interface /coordinator in addition to his core responsibility as design engineer for his vertical where the PD organization can leverage his expertise over a period.

Experience Required

For Graduate engineers- 10+ years of experience in product development with minimum 5 years of experience on Compact Tractors (India, Europe, USA)

For Diploma 15+ years of experience in design and development

Worked in a cross functional environment. Preference given to candidate from Tractor Industry with experience on vehicle and structural parts.

Preferred Qualifications

Engineering/Diploma in Mechanical or Agricultural engineering
