Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer with a strong Mechanical and MEP background to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in villa projects and data centers, ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems for MEP projects.
• Prepare and review design calculations, technical specifications, and detailed drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, NFPA, and UAE local codes.
• Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for integrated MEP solutions.
• Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize design efficiency.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for design approvals and clarifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical design for MEP projects.
• Proven experience in villa projects and data center mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software; knowledge of Primavera P6 is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and piping design.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and international codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE experience preferred; valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
